[No, his true weakness. The golden saur made a very content noise through his nose as the scritches continued and he shut his eyes again. Focusing on the feel of his fingers helped him keep from feeling too completely flustered.]

Bulba cracked an eye open to give Vinnie a golden eyed stare.]

Heh. It'll never happen, we wouldn't have nearly enough problems.

[Vinnie let out a good humoured sigh, and pat Bulba on his broad head.]

Watch, I probably jinxed it.

[Then Skull Kid walked in and Bulba settled himself down and rested his large head on the floor, letting out a brief yawn.]

... I won't be bothering you, will I? By staying.

[Vinnie walked over to his bed in the meanwhile and pulled back the covers. He couldn't place why, but for some reason his heart quickened with nervousness for a second when faced with giving Bulba an answer. This shouldn't have felt weird or different. Why did he feel weird and different?]

[If anything was amiss, Bulba did not entirely notice, like that stutter he had clearly just misheard.]
